Payment
Registration will be online with the possibility to pay with all major credit cards, as well as via bank transfer. Payment information will be available through the registration system upon confirmation of participation acceptance. The deadline for the full payment of the registration fee is May 31st. For an abstract to be included in the EBJ issue dedicated to the 12th EBSA and 10th ICBP- IUPAP Congress, abstracts should be submitted by April 19th and full registration fee payment should be received before noon April 30th.
Selection criteria
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for relevance, scientific excellence as well as for novelty and diversity of the approaches, with a strong preference for the incorporation of bits of non-published material. The best abstracts presented by student/postdoc applicants will be considered for short oral presentations.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject low-quality abstracts, as well as abstracts and registrations not pertinent to the theme of the meeting.
All presenting authors (for oral or poster presentation) will be notified via email by May 3, 2019. Authors wishing to publish their abstract in the EBJ issue dedicated to the12th EBSA and 10th ICBP- IUPAP Congress will be notified of abstract acceptance by April 20, 2019.
Late abstract submission will be opened until May 15, 2019, for poster format submissions only. Authors submitting a late abstract will be notified of acceptance by May 18, 2019.
Abstract guidelines
The abstract should not exceed 350 words (1300 characters aprox.). Submission will be online via the abstract submission system. Those authors wishing to publish their abstract in the EBJ issue dedicated to the12th EBSA and 10th ICBP- IUPAP Congress will be asked to upload a Word file containing the abstract following the specifications detailed in the submission system.
Poster specifications
Maximum poster size is 150 cm (height) x 94 cm (width), in a portrait format. Fixing material will be provided. Information on an individual poster session is now available in the programme of the meeting.
Travel awards
Few travel grants for early-stage researchers traveling from within Europe may be available depending on the budget. Authors wishing to be considered for a travel grant should check this option during the abstract submission process to get a notification in case of budget availability.
